Paramedics in LA responded to a dispatch call on Wednesday morning that took them to the home of Luke Perry. The 52-year-old star of Beverly Hills 90210 and Netflix's Riverdale, was found to have suffered a stroke and was transported to a nearby hospital. Luke who plays Archie's dad, Fred Andrews, on"Riverdale" had been shooting episodes recently on the Warner Bros lot.
While TMZ is reporting that it was a massive stroke, a representative for Perry told the BBC that he is "is currently under observation at the hospital", and no further details about his condition are being made available at present.
Luke's medical crisis coincidentally struck on the very same day Fox announced its reboot of Beverly Hills, 90210 -- the show on which he shot to fame, playing Dylan McKay in the 90s. Perry has yet to sign up for the project.
Messages of support have been pouring in from his co-stars. Get Better soon Luke!
