Former Miss Universe, Margaret Gardiner, who now works as a print and television journalist, did not miss the opportunity to snap a selfie with her famous fellow South African, Charlize Theron, at the 2024 Oscars Sunday night.

Sixty-four year old Gardiner is married to Andre Nel, a professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at UCLA.
Forty-eight-year-old Theron was also on the job at the Oscars, she was one of the official presenters Sunday night at what was the 96th edition of the event held at the Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre.
Theron won the Best Actress Oscar in 2004 for her role in the movie Monster.
