Now in its 16th year, The Environmental Photographer of the Year competition showcases the most inspirational environmental photography from around the world.
Taking to Instagram the panel shared the six winning photographs writing: “We are delighted to share the 2023 Environmental Photographer of the Year winners! Our congratulations to all six of the winning photographers, and we thank everyone who submitted entries this year – without you there wouldn't be a competition to run! We are proud to be able to share these photos which challenge and inspire everyone in front of or behind the lens with regards. These photos push us to actually see the world and everyone who lives here, especially when we're all working to live together with each other within our given environment – which can also include all forms of nature!”
The annual competition features environmental photography from all over the world to inspire climate action.
This year's six winners include amateur and professional photographers aged 17 to 70 from some of the world's most climate-vulnerable countries like Bangladesh, India, and Argentina.
