Local artist and producer Anatii received top honours at the 2019 Soul Train Awards.
The artist's who's real name is Anathi Mnyango (23), who hails from the Eastern Cape in Bhisho took home the The Ashford & Simpson Songwriter's Award for his contribution to the hit song 'Brown Skin Girl' by Beyonce. He shared the award with another popular African musician, WizKid.
Anatii was also listed on the Forbes Africa 2018 30 under 20 Creatives last year and his music career and talent continues to be recognised locally and abroad.
The awards took place in Las Vegas and were hosted by renowned actors and comedians, Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold.
The show will air tonight on BET, at 8PM.
