Zayn Malik "didn't deserve" a warning that he is mentioned in Little Mix's new track, the girl group has insisted. The band hit headlines earlier this month (Oct16) when they revealed the lyrics for their single Shout Out To My Ex, in which Perrie Edwards appears to mock her former fiance's love making skills.
One section of the track appears to refer to Zayn's new love Gigi Hadid, as Perrie sings: "I hope she gettin? better sex, Hope she ain?t fakin? it like I did, babe."However, asked during an interview with Britain's The Sun newspaper if she had given Zayn a heads-up about the song, Perrie replied with a blunt "No". Bandmate Jesy Nelson then stepped in to help her pal, telling the publication: "We don?t think he deserves a warning! He?ll just have to wait to see.?In another part of the song Perrie seemingly alludes to Zayn's vast array of tattoos.
The 23-year-old singer even pledged his love for Perrie with an inking of her face on his arm, but had it covered up after their split. "Guess I should say thank you, For the ?hate yous? and the tattoos, Oh baby I?m cool by the way, Ain?t sure I loved you anyway," Perrie belts out. Perrie was dumped by her former One Direction beau last summer (15). While both parties have since moved on, the blonde beauty seems to still be smarting from allegations her ex cheated on her while he was on tour. Other lyrics in the song include: "Shout out to my ex, you?re really quite the man.
You made my heart break and that made me who I am."The scorned singer seems to have recently found love again, this time with British actor Luke Pasqualino. The pair was seen kissing at Perrie's bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock's birthday party, and the pretty star has opened up about the fledgling romance for the first time. ?We?ve been on a few fun dates, which is nice. It?s very early days. It?s early days but yeah, he?s really lovely," Perrie smiled.
