Lindsay Lohan feared her former fiance Egor Tarabasov would throw acid in her face on the night he allegedly attacked her in her London home. The Mean Girls star became estranged from her Russian partner in July (16) after she accused him of cheating on her during a night out. They then became engaged in a heated argument at her London pad, where she was caught on camera standing on her balcony, yelling for her neighbours to call the police amid claims Egor had tried to strangle her. Egor was not arrested or charged over the incident, which Lohan subsequently claimed was not the first time he had reportedly been violent towards her. Now, in a new TV interview about the turbulent relationship, Lohan has sensationally claimed she was worried Egor would try to damage her looks during their headline-grabbing domestic dispute. Recalling the clash on Russia's Channel One network, she said, "I went to bed and he broke into my house. He started strangling me.""I feared that Egor may splash acid in my face," she continued to interviewer Andrey Malakhov, reports DailyMail.co.uk. "I jumped out to the balcony and shouted with all my force, 'He's trying to kill me, call the police!'"Lohan, 30, did not expand on why she thought her toyboy lover would hurl acid at her, but prior to the interview broadcast, Egor's representative issued a statement, in which the 23-year-old blasted the accusations and fired back at Lindsay, insisting she was trying to damage his reputation."It has come to my attention that my former fiancee, Lindsay Lohan, is planning (a) new smear campaign against me in the Russian and international media," Egor said in the press release.
"My relationship with Lindsay came to an end in July 2016. In the weeks that followed, there were numerous attempts to discredit my name by inaccurately portraying the nature of our relationship, publishing distorted facts, and making false accusations. "I decided not to address those harmful and false statements at that time. As an international businessman, I aim to maintain a low profile and concentrate on developing my business. I also chose to keep my silence out of respect for Lindsay."However, Egor has since had enough, and he is threatening legal action to stop the actress from spreading further unfounded claims."Today, I would like to state that all accusations made, and about to be made, by Lindsay against me are not true," he continued. "I refuse to be dragged into the media storm created in the aftermath of our breakup. I will not be making any more statements with regards to my former relationship with Lindsay, but I will use all possible legal means to protect my name and reputation."Lindsay has yet to respond to her ex's stern statement. She was reportedly paid $843,850 (?650,000) for the Russian TV interview.
