Lil Wayne on Black Lives Matter

In a recent interview with ABC's Nightlife, Lil Wayne separated himself from the Black Lives Matter movement by stating, "I don't feel connected to a damn thing that ain't got nothin' to do with me".

He justified his response by referring to himself as a "young rich black mother****er". If this doesn't confirm that his life matters, then what does?

Lil Wayne's indifference to the movement has encouraged Twitter followers to offer their opinions towards the rapper.
