It's been in talks for a while and it has finally happened, Guns and Roses have reunited, but who would have thought that Lenny Kravitz would be on tour with them?
Kravitz told Rolling Stone the following, "I don't normally do gigs like this, but sometimes you've got to do things for the fun of it, for the experience. I'm looking forward to playing with them and celebrating them coming back together."
This isn't Kravitz's first encounter with the group. He explains to Rolling Stone that he went to school with Slash and that he knew Slash and Axl from the beginning when it all started. Kravitz wrote 'Always on the Run' with Slash and he played on 'Fields of Joy'. Both songs can be found on the 'Mama Said' album.
Even though he hasn't seen Slash since The Troubadour, his confident that tour will be "something fun and off-the-cuff".
