The Brit Awards has announced that, in addition to performing at the prestigious event, pint-sized Kylie will be handed the BRITs Gobal Icon Award at this year’s ceremony.
The multi-million-selling international superstar and pop phenomenon that is Kylie Minogue, will receive the accolade on Saturday 2nd March in recognition of a career that has spanned five decades and made her one of the world’s most successful and iconic music stars. Kylie is also nominated for International Artist of the Year and will be performing on the night together with the likes of Dua Lipa and RAYE.
Kylie told Brit Awards: "I am beyond thrilled to be honoured with the Global Icon Award and to be joining a roll call of such incredible artists. The UK has always been a home from home so the BRITs have a very special place in my heart. I have some amazing memories from the awards over the years and I can't wait to be back on the BRITs stage. See you at the O2!"

The BRITs Icon is the highest accolade given by The BRIT Awards and has previously been awarded to artists such as Elton John, Robbie Williams, David Bowie, and Taylor Swift.
Kylie will be presented with an award designed by British visual artist and painter Rachel Jones. The BRITs will this year be hosted by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama and Roman Kemp.
The winners of the genre awards will be determined by a public vote exclusively through Instagram, which opened midday Thursday 1st February and closes this coming Thursday 15th February, at 6pm.
To vote, fans can either head to the BRITs page on Instagram (@BRITs), and comment on the category Reel of their choice using an artist-specific hashtag, or by creating a Reel and using the @BRITs tag, and the artist specific # in the caption.

The Brit Awards 2024 is the 44th edition of the ceremony presented by the British Phonographic Industry and is scheduled to take place on Saturday 2 March at London's O2 Arena.
