Kylie Jenner decided to help her best friend Jordyn Woods and her family by donating $10,000 to a GoFundMe page honouring John Woods.
The GoFundMe page was created by Jordyn's mother, Elizabeth, due to the unexpected nature of John's death - the family asked friends and family to help with medical and memorial costs.
Elizabeth wrote on the page: "This hit us from nowhere, we are emotionally, mentally and financially impacted and are still not aware of how this devastating loss will truly impact our family. As we begin to plan for John's services, we are still saddled with a portion of his medical expenses."
John was initially admitted into the ICU on 17 December 2016 as he suffered from flu-like symptoms. He was later diagnosed with Meningitis and remained in the ICU for three weeks. He passed away on 18 January 2017.
