At first there were quiet here and there articles and tweets about Kesha and the legal battle she engaged in with Sony music. More specifically a legal battle against her former callaborator and producer Lukasz Gottwald, better recognised as Dr. Luke who owns the company Kemosabe, a subsidiary of Sony. Kesha is tied down in a ten-year-old contract that gives Gottwald control of both her recording and publishing which means she has no control as a business woman over her earnings.
These quiet here and there articles have evolved to a full on explosion of articles that discuss all the aspects of Kesha's legal battle against Kemosable Records.
More recently these articles have highlighted that her injunction against Gottwald was denied by a New York judge which would have allowed her to record music outside of Kemosabe Records. More on this can be read here at rollingstone.com
