CAPE TOWN, April 3 (ANA) – The 18th Cape Town International Jazz Festival which took place over the weekend from March 31 – April 1 was an audio and visual smorgasbord for the crowds who attended.
Despite South Africa’s recent political turmoil, the jazz festival offered festival goers a brief respite from the storm, transporting them into another world.
International artists included South Africa’s own Judith Sephuma and Catherine Saint Jude Pretorious; American artists Andra Day and Digable Planets.
