According to several British tabloids, ISIS supporters have devised a sick plot to kill Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, by encouraging their followers to poison the food that she buys at local supermarkets.
They have reportedly been encouraging one another to tamper with her groceries on the messaging app Telegram. According to the UK Daily Star, one such caption to a picture of the 37-year-old Duchess pushing a shopping trolley read as follows, “We know what she eats — poison it.” The locations of the shops where Kate usually does her own grocery shopping were also shared.
Intelligence agents believe that the threats are linked to messages send by ISIS fanatic Husnain Rashid. There has been no statement issued by the royal family.
