Cooper’s impressive physical transformation for the role of Leonard Bernstein in the Netflix movie “Maestro”, is earning praise from industry insiders and fans alike.
The biographical drama is also his directorial follow-up to the Oscar-winning movie “A Star Is Born.”
Photographs from the movie were released by the streaming giant on Monday, showing Cooper opposite co-star Carey Mulligan who plays Bernstein’s wife, Felicia Montealegre.
The photos show Bernstein at various ages, transitioning eventually into an elderly Bernstein.

Production on “Maestro” started this month and moviegoers can expect a release date in 2023.
