After the following tweet was posted "So bonang_m is too busy for Metro FM SA ? And you wonder why people ask you to open up industry, and why they chose stations with consistency," by a Metro FM listener, Bonang's response created a haters vs loyal followers vs logical response from Twitter followers.
Bonang who has been at the firing end of Twitter critics for mot of the year reponded with the following:

Caster of course mention the now famous response to haters on the South African Sport Awards, last week on Monday.
Twitter followers both supported and criticized Bonang's response, while others supported the Metro FM listeners tweet by saying, "This is true though… They should just give other kids a chance.”
Other followers believe the response did not come from Bonang and that her boyfriend (Kiernan Jarryd Forbes) AKA is possibly doing the tweet for her. This idea was further supported by Twitter followers, wen Bonang ended it with:
