Fans were left stunned on Monday when it was announced that the Qwabe twins had both left Idols SA.
On Sunday evening Virginia Qwabe was eliminated after not receiving enough votes on the live reality show. This was followed the next day by Mzansi Magic announcing that her sister Viggy had decided to withdraw from the competition.
Twitter and Facebook were then awash with rumours and speculation as to what could have prompted the twin’s exit from the show.
In an attempt to quash all the allegations of behind the scenes bullying that have surfaced on social media, Idols SA has since released a statement via Twitter stating emphatically that nothing untoward went on behind the scenes and that there was definitely never any bulling. .@MzansiMagic and #IdolsSA would like to state that we are aware of fake accounts that are posting as the contestants which have been reported to our Anti-Piracy team and that THERE WAS NO BULLYING or any physical altercations among contestants in the house. #IdolsViggy
