Cape Town – According to The Washington Post, CNN and Variety, Burt Reynolds, the star of Deliverance, The Longest Yard and more has died. He was 82.
The veteran star received an Oscar nomination for his role in Boogie Nights (1997).
The actor died on Thursday morning at Jupiter Medical Centre in Florida, his manager, Erik Kritzer, told The Hollywood Reporter.
TMZ reports that Reynolds died following a heart attack.
