On Wednesday, 8 July, Naya Rivera was reported missing at a lake in California.
This happened when an employee at Lake Piru found just her 4-year-old son on board a rented boat that was overdue for return.
According authorities only Rivera's son, two life jackets, her purse and ID were found on the boat.
No clues as to what may have happened were found.
Search efforts began immediately on Wednesday and ended at 10m pm that evening.
Rivera's 4-year-old son told authorities that she went for a swim and didn't return.
Search efforts to locate Rivera continue.
