Former One Directioner, Zayn Malik and model girlfriend Gigi Hadid have been dating for less than a year.
Zayn was previously engaged to Little Mix member, Perrie Edwards, while Gigi broke things off with Joe Jonas before getting together in November 2015.
The pair briefly split over the summer, with sources claiming they were having a rocky relationship and constantly being on-and -off. They eventually got back together right away.
On Thursday, news of Zayn proposing to Gigi surfaced, of which she turned down. Life & Style magazine quoted a source close to the pair who said:
"She's only 21 and doesn't feel ready to tie the knot, so she turned him down," the source said, adding that her mother's marital woes played a factor into her decision. "She's seen her mom go through two messy divorces, so Gigi wants to make 100 per cent sure Zayn's the one before she makes a lifetime commitment.”
