George Clooney's reaction to Brad and Angelina's divorce

It's safe to say that George Clooney didn?t see the Hollywood split coming.  When asked about it in an interview with CNN?s Richard Roth, Clooney said: ?"What's that? What's happened?"  "I didn't know that. I feel very sorry then. That's a sad story and unfortunate for a family," George shared. "It's an unfortunate story about a family. I feel very sorry to hear that.

Many pop culture fans woke up to the surprising news that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.

For those still trying to figure out how one of Hollywood's most famous couples called it quits, multiple sources have shed some light into the couple?s recent dynamic, "Angelina is very dedicated to her work with the United Nations and working on other charitable endeavours while Brad is consumed with his film projects," an insider shared. "Both of their interests have taken them across the world but not together but in different directions."

Another source added, "It has been a very difficult time. It's been a very hard decision to make, but ultimately they both did the best they could to make the relationship work. Both sides are hurting very deeply right now."

The burning question now is how the custody of their children will play out as Angelina Jolie filed for full custody with visitation rights for Brad Pitt.
