The first official portrait of ‘cute as a button’ Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor has been released by mom and dad, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, on the occasion of her first birthday.
According to the Daily Mail the Duke and Duchess of Sussex invited close friends and family to a "casual, intimate backyard picnic" on Saturday, June 4, at their Frogmore Cottage home.
Photographer Misan Harriman, who attended the party with his wife and children, took the portrait that Duke and Duchess chose to share on social media.
Harriman shared the image as part of a montage of pictures captioning the post by saying. “It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around."

The Daily Mail also reported that the couple left for California with their children the next day on a “gas-guzzling private jet” ahead of the grand finale of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on the Sunday.
