More than two years since the initial announcement, “Becoming Led Zeppelin”, the first-ever officially sanctioned Led Zeppelin documentary has been completed.
This is the first film to include the bands three surviving members – Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones. The film will also include archival interviews with the late drummer John Bonham, as well as previously unseen photographs and video footage.
Londoner Bernard MacMahon, best known for his 2017 documentary series 'American Epic' is the film maker behind the upcoming documentary. In 2019, Jimmy Page said, "When I saw everything Bernard had done both visually and sonically on the remarkable achievement that is American Epic, I knew he would be qualified to tell our story.”
A release date has not yet been revealed.
