The news of the popular actors’ death was confirmed on Sunday by the SABC. Since then there has been an outpouring of shock and grief on social media over his untimely passing.
The much loved Mokhubela was best known for his role as Jazzy T on the popular SABC1 soapie, Skeem Saam, of which he had been a part of since 2011.
The production team announced the news of his death on their Twitter page saying: “Rest in Peace Karabo (JAZZY T) Mokhubela. You will be sorely missed! We keep his loved ones in our prayers”.

Keamogetswe Leburu, who plays Bontle, Jazzy T’s on-screen girlfriend, also took to Twitter to pay tribute to the actor, writing "RIP to my onscreen boyfriend Karabo Mokhubela “JAZZY T” I will always miss you hun.”

No further information about Karabo's death has yet been released.
