It is without doubt one of the most anticipated remakes in Disney’s history, especially for South Africans, as both John Kani and Lebo M are on the cast list. The official date of release is the 19th July and tickets have already gone on sale.
Adding to the excitement is the news that Queen Beyoncé has collaborated with Mzansi's Lebo M on a surprise new track for the film. The film's director, Jon Favreau, has confirmed that Queen Bey wrote the song with Lebo M.
