Actress Evan Rachel Wood shared a Twitter letter on Monday, in which she opened up about being attacked by a “significant other” and by a bar owner.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Wood indirectly hinted at having gone through physical, psychological and sexual abuse during her teen years.
Along with the letter she tweeted:
"Well, since everything is out in the open now, figured I would share the confession letter I wrote to Rolling Stone in its entirety."
She later tweeted that she would be taking a break from social media and thanked everyone for their support.
"Thank you for all your support and courageous stories. You are not alone. xo"
