It was with the support of the Miss World Organisation that Mr World SA was created by Mister SA 2014, Armand du Plessis, giving the impossibly good looking, super intelligent and extremely talented Fezile Mkhize the opportunity to take his career to another level. As the first Mr World SA, the hugely popular Mkhize went on to become a great ambassador for the South African brand, he represented Mzansi in the Mr World 2019 competition and was named 1st runner up and also given the title Mr World Africa.
And now the exciting news has just been announced that entries are open for his successor. To be eligible to enter you need to be between the ages of 21 and 31 on 1 January 2021 and available to take part in the pageant. Then you need to fill in an entry form, pay an entry fee of R600, get together several photographs and a 40-second introduction video, and then press submit. Entries close 30 November.

Mr World SA is managed and owned by a consortium of companies, Edith Venter Promotions, The Groomer, and Av & Beyond. This year the Mr World SA took over the management of 3 new titles which will also be crowned at the Mr World SA 2021 pageant - Mr World SA, Mister Global SA and Mr Gay World SA.
All these titles will work under the banner of ‘United with Purpose’ to promote equality and to show the world that all men can stand together for the same purpose regardless of race, religion, colour, or creed.
