Musk has offered a 19-year-old University of Florida student $5k in exchange for the deletion of a Twitter bot that tracks his private jet.
However, young Jack Sweeny, an avid space fanatic, was not impressed by the offer and suggested to the billionaire that he add a nought to the offer, saying the payment wouldn't replace the satisfaction he received from running the @ElonJet account.
The SpaceX and Tesla mastermind has described the tracker, which uses publicly available air-traffic information, as a security threat.
Sweeny's refusal was covered by major news channels in the US. He posted this interview with News Nation Now on his personal Twitter platform.
