A Drew Barrymore article that was recently snapped and tweeted by Adam Baron has gone viral.
This interview with Drew Barrymore in the Egypt Air in flight magazine is, umm, surreal. pic.twitter.com/fN3lNHXbL0

The article titled Drew Barrymore: motherhood is the most important role in my life begins by insulting the actress. It criticises her failed relationships and quotes Drew saying that she has temporarily taken an unlimited vacation to play her most crucial role as a mother.
The article continues with the author praising Drew for regaining "her previous graceful body after giving birth" and quotes Drew as saying "I feel overwhelmed when someone tells me that I have regained my image and managed to lose that extra weight.
"However, I find this a great opportunity to encourage every woman who is overweight to work on regaining her beauty and body, especially that it is not as hard as one may think."
The article has been published in the in-flight magazine EgyptAir, but a representative of Drew claims that the interview happened without Drew being present.
The author of the article Aida Takla, who BBC describes as an Egypt-born former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), claims that the interview definitely did happen with Drew Barrymore present.
Aida also states that although she is credited for the article, that she did not write the introduction of the article.
BBC also reports that stars often participate in press conferences for HFPA members, who use the resulting quotes in articles that are published internationally. Representatives of Drew confirm that the quotes were drawn from an interview but that she never sat down with an EgyptAir representative for an interview.
And so the puzzle of the crazy interview Drew Barrymore had, or did not have with EgyptAir remains unresolved.
