The hit single 'One Dance' Drake released earlier this year from his latest album 'Veiws' is a multi-cultural masterpiece that will have your hips swirling, your head bobbing and your eyes closing while you lose yourself to the rhythm and beat.
South African's who heard it on radio for the first time immediately recognised the South African influence in the melody of the song followed by confusion when Drake's voice came through, 'that sounds like Drake. Is that Drake?'
The South African influence is introduced by Themba Sekowe a.k.a DJ Maphorisa. More popularly known as one member of the group Uhuru, the South African music group best known for producing the single by Mafikizolo titled 'Khona'.
Knowing this we think that it is only fitting that Drake filmed the video for 'One Dance' in South Africa.
