The 77-year-old country music legend is looking forward to releasing her first rock and roll album called ‘Rockstar’, featuring 9 original tracks along with 21 covers of famous songs.
Due for release in November, there are plenty of collaborations with some of music’s biggest stars including Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Ringo Starr, Sir Elton John, Sting, Lizzo, and Parton's goddaughter, Miley Cyrus.
Parton said in an official statement that creating the album had been a “ joy beyond measure”.
