The Hunchback of Notre Dame may not have been as popular as the previous mentioned Disney films, which leads some critics to believe that it will be difficult to market the remake and make it as popular as say, Beauty and the Beast.
News of when the project will be completed is still unknown.
Completely unrelated to the live-action remake, Netflix is also developing a remake of it, titled, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
