Diana Ross has come out in defence of the late Michael Jackson following the fallout from the screening of the controversial Leaving Neverland documentary. in the HBO documentary, Jackson is accused by Wade Robson and James Safechuck of molesting them when they were children.
The former pop icon had an incredibly close relationship with Diana Ross, not only did they work together, but Michael also named Diana as the secondary caregiver to his three children — Prince Michael, 22, Paris, 20, and 17-year-old “Blanket — in his will.
In a tweet over the weekend, 74-year-old Diana Ross was clearly referencing her hit song Stop in the Name of Love as part of her plea to the public and the media to stop their attack on Michael Jackson.

Her tweet has met with mixed reaction on Twitter, with some saying she knew Jackson better than most, and others implying that she has checked out of reality.
