Demi Moore joining cast of Empire

Demi Moore is returning to TV for the first time in more than a decade. Her last recurring TV role was on General Hospital  in 1982.

The actress is joining the cast of Fox's musical hit show Empire. Moore will make her debut in the Season 3 finale, playing a "take-charge nurse with a mysterious past," Fox says. She's expected to have a recurring role in Season 4.

Moore will be joined by other newcomers for season 4, including Eva Longoria, Taye Diggs, Phylicia Rashad, Nia Long and her daughter Rumer Willis.

Empire returns on 22 March 2017.
