The 34-year-old singer and actress Katharine McPhee confirmed the news of her engagement to David Foster on Twitter.
McPhee posted a gif of Ariana Grande, who is brushing off the paparazzi with a 'walking away now hair flip' captioned, 'And what about it?'.
McPhee is clearly fending off her haters who have been tweeting hurtful comments and scrutinising her relationship with the 68-year-old record producer.
The two have been previously married, McPhee married her first husband, Nick Cokas in 2008 while Foster split with his fourth wife, Yolanda Hadid last year.
