Somizi Mhlongo will be the third South African on Comedy Central to get roasted, following Steve Hofmeyr and Kenny Kunene.
The roast will be hosted by radio personality Gareth Cliff. The roasters include journalist Joanne Joseph, comedians Skhumba Hlophe and Schalk Bezuidenhout, actress Nomzamo Mbatha, Mr 'Razzmatazz' Fikile Mbalula, singer Kurt Darren, poet Ntsiki Mazwai, and radio and TV personality DJ Fresh.
The roast will be broadcasted on Comedy Central tonight on channel 122 on DStv at 9pm.
An extended and uncensored version will be available to ShowMax subscribers from 8 May.
