There have been rumours of a Charmed reboot for several years, but now the hit TV show - which ran for eight seasons on the WB - is officially being developed into a remake.
The original cast members, Shannen Doherty, 45, Alyssa Milano, 44, Holly Marie Combs, 43, and Rose McGowan, 43, will unlikely be part of the show as it is set decads before the original series, which ran from 1998 until 2006.
The show will be developed by The CW and will set an all new-cast back in to 1976.
There will be similarities between the original and the reboot as the new series revolves around three witches who are brought together to fight evil, however it will have a different twist, with the show being set in New England.
Jane the Virgin's writers, Jennie Snyder, Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin will serve as screenwriters on the new show.
Shortly after the announcement Milano, who played Phoebe and Combs, who portrayed Piper, took to twitter to offer their blessings for the new show.
Combs kept it short and sweet and tweeted "We wish them well."
While Milano thanked her fans, "#Charmed fans! There are no fans like you. You're the best of the best."
Milano even posted a throwback of her time on Charmed on Instagram.
