Charlize Theron has taken to social media to share her thoughts on the wave of violence against women and children that has swept through South Africa over this past couple of weeks.
She stated on Twitter that "the system has clearly failed women”. She also reminded her followers of a controversial ad that she made way back in 1999 which highlighted the fact that 20 years on, nothing much has changed.
