Celine Dion has sold more than 220 million albums worldwide since 1981 when her late husband and manager discovered the young girl with the golden voice and helped to launch of the most successful careers in music history.
He manager her career for over a decade before marrying her when she was 26. Rene Angellil died on the 14th of January this year at the age of 73 from throat cancer. Six weeks after his passing she returned to her residency at Caesars Palace as was Rene?s wish.
And now it seems she has been busy in the recording studio putting together an interesting collection of music in an album titled Encore Un Soir ( Another night). It is her first album in French in four years.
In talking about the album and its imminent release ,Dion has said that she is to release an album in English in 2017 with the title track having beem written by none other than Pink.
It is worth mentioning that one of the tracks on the French album was chosen from 4 000 submissions she received last year from fans after she made a public plea for new song suggestions.
