In tribute to the legendary songstress, Aretha Franklin, the Recording Academy recently aired an emotionally charged concert with an incredible line up of stars.
Aretha, who passed away last August at the age of 76, was remembered and honoured by giants in the industry. One such giant was Celine Dion who gave a goosebump rendition of Franklin’s cover of Sam Cooke’s 60’s era anthem A Change is Gonna Come while standing in front of a screen that flashed images from the Civil Rights Movement.
