Cee Lo Green has announced that he will be releasing a Christmas album later this year.
The album is titled 'Magic Moment' and will be released on October 30 in the US.
It will feature the Gnarls Barkley singer performing new renditions of festive classics 'Silent Night,' 'The Christmas Song,' 'This Christmas,' 'You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch' and 'White Christmas.'
The LP is also confirmed to feature guest appearances from veteran crooner Rod Stewart, rapper B.o.B and new band Straight No Chaser. Speaking about the album, Green has promised to deliver "a soulful take on a host of Christmas classics" and has called the record "the real deal".
Green has spent the last year working on the follow-up to his hugely successful 2010 album 'The Lady Killer'. The album is expected to be titled 'Cee Lo Green…Is Everybody's Brother' and is also due for release later this year.
It was also recently reported that the singer is developing a sitcom loosely based on his own life.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Green would executive produce and potentially star in the show, which would be written by Ali Leroi, the co-creator of Chris Rock's sitcom Everybody Hates Chris. The project is still in its formative stages, but is said to centre on Green's struggle to balance his home life with his career as a singer and record producer.
