The official cause of death of Caroline Flack’s death has been confirmed by coroners in the UK, the former Love Island host was found dead in her home in London last week from an apparent suicide. On Wednesday the cause of death was listed as suicide by hanging.
Forty-year-old Flack was due in court next month on charges of assaulting her boyfriend, twenty-seven-year-old pro tennis player, Lewis Burton, in the early hours of December 12 last year.
Since her suicide, there have been calls on social media for the series to be cancelled with many saying that the deaths by suicide of former contestants Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis, and now Caroline, should be reason enough.
The latest series is currently being shot in Cape Town, South Africa at an undisclosed location.
