Caitlyn Jenner: 'I'm so thankful Kim is OK after gunpoint robbery'



















Caitlyn Jenner has become the first member of Kim Kardashian's extended family to speak out about the reality star's gunpoint robbery in Paris.The 35-year-old was bound and gagged in her hotel apartment in the early hours of Monday (03Oct16) after thugs dressed as French police officers entered her Parisian retreat and made off with approximately $11.2 million (GBP8.8 million) worth of jewellery and cellphones.Shaken Kim is now back home in America and her former stepfather, Caitlyn, has opened up about her ordeal.

The I Am Cait star took to Instagram on Tuesday (04Oct16) and wrote: "Love my girl! After hearing the full story, I'm so thankful she's okay. It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world."Caitlyn came under fire on Monday (03Oct16) for appearing careless about her stepdaughter as she posted images of herself with biological daughter Kylie Jenner at a weekend car show, writing: "Had so much fun with Kylie at Sunday's car show..."A source close to Kim tells Entertainment Tonight she's still recovering from the shock of the robbery, and is "absolutely traumatised."

"She's very emotional," the insider told the outlet. "The scariest part for her throughout this experience is the fact that it could have been a lot worse, and she couldn?t imagine what that would have been like for her children. The kids have no idea what?s going on, thankfully."Her kids Saint and North were with their father Kanye West in New York when the robbery incident took place.
