58-year-old musician Bryan Adams appeared as a guest on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, where he was faced with the 1996 romance rumours subject involving Princess Diana.
"There are many rumours that you and Princess Diana were once romantically involved," Cohen asked. "Her butler said that he used to sneak you into Kensington Palace. How would you characterize your relationship with Princess Diana?"
The Canadian singer cleared the air by saying, "First of all, she didn't sneak me in, I would just roll up" and insisted they were just "good friends".
Adams' 1985 song "Diana" fueled the speculation and rumours.
The song refers to "Diana" as the "Queen of all my dreams" and urges her to leave her husband, presumably referring to Prince Charles. After Princess Diana's tragic passing, he retired the cheeky track.
