Britney Spears claims she aborted Justin Timberlake’s baby in memoir

Spears makes the bombshell claim in an excerpt from her upcoming memoir The Woman in Me published by People magazine.

The 41-year-old star wrote: “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.

“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

She described the decision to abort the baby as “agonizing” ,  and said that if it had been her decision alone, she would have continued with the pregnancy.

"If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.

“To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."

There has been no comment from Timberlake’s spokesperson. Timberlake is married to Jessica Biel with whom he has two sons, Silas, eight, and Phinneas, three.

Several more excerpts from the pop star’s highly anticipated book were released by People magazine on Tuesday (Oct. 17).

The Woman in Me will be available as a hardcover, e-book, and audiobook on October 24th. You can pre-order the memoir at various retailers including Amazon (also available on Kindle), Barnes & Noble, Target, Walmart and Bookshop.

Spears posted this clip on social media ahead of the book’s release.
