Britney Spears and Alicia Keys among Apple Music Festival headliners


Britney Spears, Alicia Keys and Elton John are among the stars set to headline this year's Apple Music Festival.The legendary festival will be returning to the Roundhouse venue in London, England, next month, and will mark its 10th anniversary with a huge celebrate of live music. The line-up was announced on yesterday Thursday, 25 August, with Britney among the stars on the bill to perform.

Speaking about the gig, Britney revealed her excitement about returning to the English capital, saying: "I?m so excited to go back to London, which is a special place for me to visit and I?m really looking forward to performing at the Apple Music Festival. It?s also their 10th birthday! It?s going to be a great party.? Bastille, Calvin Harris, OneRepublic, Michael Buble, The 1975, Robbie Williams and Chance the Rapper complete the line-up for this year's 10-night festival, which will be made available live and on-demand to Apple Music members in 100 countries, via their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, Apple TV and Android phones.

Alicia said of her involvement in the festival, "I love London and performing at the Roundhouse! I can't wait to see you there. It?s going to be magic!? Elton added: "I am so excited to be playing at the Roundhouse. I love London and can?t wait to share this fantastic experience at the Apple Music Festival with my fans."Indie pop band Bastille are more than a little excited about the chance to play in London, explaining: "We're massively excited to play Apple Music Festival for many reasons, but mainly because it'll be our first proper London show after the release of our new album, Wild World. The Roundhouse is such a beautiful venue and it's in our hometown, so I can't think of a better place to play a bunch of new songs for the first time."The Apple Music Festival runs from 18 September to 30 September (16).
