The Pointer Sisters formed in Oakland, California, first found success in the 1970s, their career spanned over four decades and earned them 13 top US 20 hits. three Grammy awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994. Bonnie left the group in 1977 to pursue a solo career which sadly never achieved the success of the Pointer Sisters.

Their most popular songs include Jump (For My Love) and I'm So Excited as well as Fire and Slow Hand.
