Bobby Brown Jr, the 28-year-old son of US singer Bobby Brown, was found dead at his California home on Wednesday afternoon.
USA Today reports that according to the Los Angeles Police Department, police responded to a medical emergency Wednesday afternoon and found a deceased male, later identified as Brown Jr.
No further details have been made available as to the cause of death. There will be a coroner’s investigation but at this stage, no foul play is suspected.
Brown Jr was one of seven of Brown’s children. He was an aspiring singer and had just released his first music single Say Something in September this year.
His death is yet another tragedy in the life of his father, Bobby Brown - his ex-wife, super-star singer Whitney Houston died in 2012 when she was found unresponsive in a Beverly Hills hotel bath. Her death was ruled accidental drowning brought on by heart disease and her long-time abuse of cocaine. Three years alter his daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina, died at the age of 22 - she was found face down and unconscious in the bathtub of her Georgia home. After being in a coma for nearly six months, Brown died from Lobar pneumonia. Although her boyfriend Nick Gordon was never charged in the case, he was later found responsible in a wrongful death lawsuit and ordered to pay 36 million dollars to her estate.
