Black Panther 2 has release date

Given the enormous success of the Black Panther movie, it seems inevitable that a sequel would be in the offing and it is!  A release date has now been confirmed by Marvel Studios for May 6, 2022.

The Black Panther sequel was officially confirmed over the weekend at the Disney D23 Expo, with Kevin Feige and Ryan Coogler revealing the cinema release date. It is not clear if this is just a US release date.
