After a performance in 2014, Jamie "Taboo" Gomez checked into an emergency room after experiencing pain throughout his body. The pain was caused by stage 2 testicular cancer. He immediately underwent surgery and a 12 week course of chemotherapy. Last year he was declared as being in remission.
The news has inspired hum to help others affected by cancer.
Taboo has released a single called, 'The Fight'. The American Cancer Society will receive 70% of all receipts from the purchase price. The ACS has named Taboo its Global Ambassador.
