Birthday girl Rumer Willis thanks mother Demi Moore for 'cooking' her

Rumer Willis has posted a sweet tribute on her birthday to Demi Moore, thanking her famous mother for giving her life.The former Dancing with the Stars champion turned 28 on Tuesday 16 August, and celebrated with a heartwarming snap posted on Instagram of her as a newborn being held by Demi, who is pulling a bemused face. "Shoutout to my gorgeous mother for cooking me for 9 months and welcoming me into the world 28yrs (sic) ago today," Rumer captioned the shot. "Thank you for showing me what a beautiful, strong, kind, intelligent and magical woman looks like and giving me the best role model a daughter could ask for. I love you with all my heart mama. I am so proud to have the honour of being your first baby." Demi and then-husband Bruce Willis welcomed their first bundle of joy in 1988, followed by daughter Scout in 1991, and Tallulah in 1994. The Hollywood couple, who wed in 1987, announced their separation in 1998, and divorced in 2000. Demi went on to marry - and later divorce - Ashton Kutcher, while Bruce married model Emma Heming in 2009, and the couple has two daughters - four-year-old Mabel and two-year-old Evelyn. Emma took to Instagram to celebrate her step-daughter's birthday with a sweet throwback snap of Rumer with her half-sister Evelyn. "Happy Birthday to the eldest Willis sister... We love you with all our hearts!" the model wrote.
